When Benk first moved to Singapore, he struggled to find men’s basics with those desired qualities in stores. With a background in fashion retail and a strong desire to start his own brand, Benk founded Bundies to bridge that gap. A couple of months later, Wouter joined Benk on his journey. With a background in Marketing, Wouter has been supporting startups over the last few years to develop their brands, but he always had a goal to start his own sustainable alternative for a consumer good such as men's basics. That was how our two goals converged into one.
Together we visited stores to look at what was available in the market, and interviewed people from various backgrounds to find out what they look for in underwear. Inspired by these insights, we travelled around Asia to find a production facility that could fulfil our high-quality needs with regards to product and design. Products were tested extensively to ensure our customers would get the most comfortable underwear. Colourful and modern designs were created to inspire boldness, individuality, and creativity.
